👉 Rom. 12:2 "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

👉 BE NOT CONFORMED TO THIS WORLD, that is, equivalent to the expression: "Don't let the world around you squeeze you into its own mold." The world that now is, the present state of all things, is as much opposed to God as the world then was. Pride, luxury, vanity, extravagance in dress, and the riotous living, prevail now, as they did then, and are as unworthy of Christian pursuit as they are injurious to the souls, and hateful in the sight of God.

❤️ The WORLD rendered Greek AION, meant the age we are living in. This age is a system or society that man has built in order to make himself happy without God. It is a kingdom, government, antagonistic to God. The god and prince of this world is Satan (2 Cor. 4:4; Jn. 12:31; 14:30; 16:11), and the world system is an evil one (Gal. 1:4).

❤️ All unconverted people, including Christian hypocrites are Satan's subjects. Satan seeks to attract and hold people through the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life (1 Jn. 2:16).

❤️ This world has its own politics, where liars, murderers, adulterers and thieves are voted in; art, where traditions played important roles; music to make their revelling, drinking comfortable; religions/denominations; amusements, thought-patterns, and seeks to get everyone to conform to its culture and customs. The world hates nonconformists who are Christ and His Christians.

❤️ Christians are crucified to the world, and the world crucified to them. Anyone who loves the world is disloyal to Jesus Christ, and is automatically the enemy of God (cf. James 4:4).

👉 BE YE TRANSFORMED BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND. The Greek word for TRANSFORMED is METAMORPHOO, which implied a fundamental change in Christian's inward nature and a following pattern of character which corresponds to that new nature.

❤️ The word further designates a radical, thorough, and universal change, both inward and outward. MIND, rendered Greek NOUS, is center of logical reasoning, ethical judgment, and moral awareness.

👉 PROVE, test, scrutinize, or examine.

GOOD, holy, righteous.

PERFECT, finished, complete.

👉 There are three keys of knowing God's will. FIRST, a yielded body, new in Christ; SECOND, a separated life to serve God, and THIRD, a transformed mind
