Genesis [3] And God said let there be light. (John 1:1-5) [1] In the beginning was the Word (Jesus), and the Word was with God (Genesis 1:4)and the Word was God (Jesus brought the teachings of his father). [2]The same was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made by him (if Jesus became the Savior throw the works of the Father); and without him (Jesus and the Father’s plan for salvation) was not anything made that was made. [4] In him (Jesus)was life; and life was the light (Revelation 21:23 (AKJV)23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.) of man. (John 3:17) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:18) He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.(John3:19) And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.( John 3:20) For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. (John 3:21) But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. (John 1:9, 11:9-10, 8:12, 9:5, 12:46, Matthew 5:14, Psalm 97:4, Ephesians 3:9 , Revelation 18:23, 21:24) {Jesus is the LIGHT and the WORD of the world}(1st Timothy 3:16) And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness {God Head < see: Acts 17:29; Romans 1:20 and Colossians 2:9-11>}. ❤️ In the beginning was the Word (Jesus), and the Word(Jesus) was with God (the Father), and the Word (Jesus announced his Father)was God. 2 The same was in the beginning(that light and the word of the world) with God. 3 All things were made by him (Jesus through his Father); and without him(Jesus through his Father) was not any thing made that was made(if Jesus did not become the saviour). 4 In him(Jesus)was life; and the life was the light(and the word) of men(Jesus). 5 And the light(JESUS) shineth in darkness(satan); and the darkness(satan) comprehended it not.
6 There was a man(John) sent from God, whose name was John. 7 The same(John) came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light(Jesus), that all men through him(Jesus) might believe. 8 He(John) was not that Light(John), but was sent to bear witness of that Light(Jesus). 9 That was the true Light(Jesus), which lighteth(eternal life)every man (The ones who receive Jesus) that cometh into the world(for salvation). 10 He(Jesus) was in the world, and the world was made by him(through Jesus and salvation), and the world knew him(Jesus)not. 11 He(Jesus)came unto his own(The Begotten Son), and his(Jesus) own(Brothers in God) received him(Jesus) not. 12 But as many as received him(Jesus), to them(flesh) gave he(JESUS)power to become the sons of God(Jesus left the spirit), even to them(flesh) that believe on his(JESUS) name: 13 which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God(The fallen angels cast out of heaven). 14 And the Word(Jesus) was made flesh(Jesus, the only Begotten from the Father), and dwelt among us (The soles of the world), (and we beheld his [JESUS] glory, the glory as of the only begotten [Jesus on earth] of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
15 John bare witness of him(Jesus), and cried, saying, This was he(Jesus The begotten son of God) of whom I spake, He(The Saviour) that cometh after me(John the Baptist) is preferred before me(John): for he(Jesus in heaven[Gods first creation]) was before me(John). 16 And of his(Jesus) fulness have all we(Flesh) received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. 18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he(Jesus) hath declared him. ❤️❌ Salvation
❌❌ God’s Plan of Salvation
💚 Two thousand years ago a troubled jailer asked, “what must I do to be saved?” (Acts 16:30). This is the most important question anyone can ask. Why do we need to be saved? Because of the evils in this world, but especially because of our own faults and failures.
💚 We often feel guilty for things we’ve said and things we’ve done—things that we know are wrong. We sense that we deserve God’s judgment. What can be done to save us from our helpless situation?
An Overview Creation Q💚 God made this world and all that is in it: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. . . . God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them” (Gen. 1:1, 27).
💚 God created human beings to be like him and to have true friendship with him. When his work of creation was finished, God saw that it was “very good” (Gen. 1:31).
❤️ Rebellion 💚 Although the first people, Adam and Eve, had complete freedom to live in friendship with God, they chose to rebel against him instead of trusting in him (Gen. 3:1–7). Because God had designed the world so that Adam would represent the entire human race, Adam’s sin was catastrophic not only for himself but for us as well: one sin led to the condemnation of all mankind (Rom. 5:18).
💚 Our relationship with God was broken. Instead of enjoying his holy pleasure, instead we now face his righteous wrath. Through Adam’s sin, we all died spiritually (see Rom. 3:1–20; Eph. 2:1–10) and the entire world was tragically damaged as well: “The creation was subjected to futility” (Rom. 8:20). And we all individually sin against God in our own lives: “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Rom. 3:23).
❤️ Redemption 💚 God would have been perfectly just and right to leave matters there—with all human beings under his holy judgment. But he didn’t do that.
💚 Instead, God set in motion a plan to save people from sin and judgment and to set free the entire creation from the tragic effects of sin and the curse. How? By sending his Son as a true man who would bear the penalty for our sin and die in our place: “Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures” (1 Cor. 15:3).
💚 The best-known verse in the Bible summarizes the way in which we should respond to this good news:
💚 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). To “believe in” Jesus includes both a wholehearted trust in him for forgiveness of sins and a decision to forsake one’s sin or to repent:
💚 All who truly repent and believe in Jesus will be redeemed (Mark 1:15). They will be restored to a right relationship with God. To “believe in” Jesus also requires trusting in Jesus as he truly is—not just a man in ancient history but also a living Savior who knows our hearts and hears our prayers.
❤️ Consummation God not only rescues lost sinners but will someday fully restore all of creation. We read in Romans 8:21, “the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God.” The heavens and the earth will “pass away” and will be radically transformed
💚 (2 Pet. 3:7–13; Rev. 21:1). We read of the glorious culmination of this in the book of Revelation, where God’s people—those whom he has redeemed and saved—are brought into the presence of God to live forever (Rev. 21:1–22:6). This is life as it should be and as God meant it to be.
❤️ Filling in the Details 💚 Let’s now stop and review this more carefully and specifically, addressing the categories of God, man, Christ, our response, and the result.
❤️ God 💚 The God of the Bible is the one and only true God. He is the greatest of all beings. He depends on no other being for his existence.
💚 He exists eternally as one God in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He acts according to his own good pleasure. He “works all things according to the counsel of his will” (Eph. 1:11). God created the world and acts in it today in accordance with his own perfect, holy, good, and loving plan.
💚 In the same way that this perfectly good God created everything according to his own purposes, so also he has acted to save people who have rebelled against him.
❤️ Man 💚 People are made in the image of God (Gen. 1:27–28). What does that mean? In part it means that we are privileged to act as God’s representatives, as sub-rulers over God’s creation, reflecting God’s good rule over us. Our authority is derived from God’s authority (Eph. 3:14–15) and is meant to reflect his good plans for his world.
💚 But being in God’s image also means that we are like God in many ways. Like God, we are spiritual and rational beings. Like God, we communicate and establish relationships.
❤️ Like God, our souls will endure eternally.
